Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. The weather was gorgeous here in Southern Louisiana, so I got to play in my garden. My Make It Monday share is a Thinking of You Card created with the Stampin' Up! Shooting Star stamp set and coordinating Sliding Star Framelits Dies. Using this bundle with the Hexagon and Seaside Embossing Folders, makes the perfect card for the 1st Day of Spring!
Peanuts and Peppers Crafting Pointers:
- The base of this card is 5 1/2" x 4 1/4", which means you can get two cards from one sheet of card stock.
- I used the Seaside Embossing Folder to mimic the lines of a beehive, and the Hexagon Embossing Folder for the honeycomb inside.
- The sentiment is from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set.
- I added Clear Wink of Stella to the bee's wings, and I embellished with Basic Black Baker's Twine and Candy Dots.
