Happy Saturday Everyone! I wanted to share pictures from the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure! The weather was beautiful and there was a turn out of 10,000 people. I walked in honor of my dear friend Dodi who continues to fight breast cancer and in memory of my grandmother Loween, who went into remission, but lost the battle many years ago. It was an emotional morning especially when everyone went over the finish line. I challenge each of you to make a pledge for the cure and remember your monthly breast exams! Enjoy!

How wonderful!! Looks like a fun day!
ReplyDeletewhat an awesome way to honor your grandmothers memory and support your friend. I do hope they find a cure for this cancer and all cancer soon.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a great way to support the loved ones and to remember those past......There appear to be loads of others there supporting the cause. I have not been directly impacted by losing a loved one to cancer yet...but I have truly felt/seen the pain of others......Nice to see the support and hope there can be a cure for all cancers in the near future......
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone! It was an amazing day and I look forward to next year. I believe there will be a cure!
