FYI

You can keep remolding the clay as long as it is moist. If there are rough edges after the clay dries, you can cut them with Paper Snips or sand them. As the clay dries, it will shrink a bit.

To adhere a finished clay piece to a project, use a strong adhesive, such as Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Sticky Strip.

You can fan out the cards to get a look at all the colors, remove the post and rearrange the cards in the order you prefer, and take cards out and place them side by side so you can better visualize what they’ll look like on your projects.

Tips:

Yellows are good partners in general and will work in a pinch as a third color in combinations.

Dynamic Duos are Stampin' Up colors in monochromatic schemes. If a Dynamic Duo is available for a specific 

color, it will be listed on that color card. They also work well for choosing color schemes for stamping Two-Step Stampin images or choosing card stock and ink combinations.

Using a neutral as your main color can increase the emphasis and intensity of accent colors you choose.

Tuesday Tool - Stampin' Up! Heat and Stick Powder (Make Glittered Embellishments In A Flash!)

Good Morning Everyone! Today's Tuesday Tool is the Stampin' Up Heat and Stick Powder. Use it to adhere Stampin' Glitter and Stampin' Emboss Powder using the Heat Tool to your papercraft creations.

Quick Trick

After stamping with Classic Stampin' Pads or VersaMark ink, pour Heat & Stick Powder liberally over your design. Shake excess powder onto a Powder Pals tray, and pour it back into the bottle. Heat the stamped image with a Heat Tool just until the powder changes to a shiny liquid. Quickly sprinkle glitter over the sticky powder. Shake off excess. Briefly heat again to set the glitter.

FYI

Place Heat & Stick Powder in a bigger container and shake it if it clumps.Close the lid of the ink pad when applying powder.Use tweezers for dipping punched images in powder.

Quick Trick

Add a drop or two of our Classic Ink refill to the Crystal Effects, and you’ll have a high-gloss colored finish.

Crystal Effects also works great as an adhesive to attach buttons and other heavier embellishments. Add a three-dimensional effect to your projects with Crystal Effects. Simply apply a thick line of Crystal Effects to the outline of your stamped image. After the line has dried, add a thinner coat of Crystal Effects to the inside area of what was outlined.

FYI

Crystal Effects can be used with any stamped image that has been colored with any medium: Stampin’ Write Markers,or Stampin’ Pads.

Do not shake. Shaking Crystal Effects will cause bubbles that will show up in your work.

Recap after use to prevent the tip from drying and clogging.

Allow approximately one hour drying time.

Good Morning Everyone! Today's Tuesday Tool is the Stampin' Up! Trimmer. I have one and I love it! So many new features of this tool make it the best one on the market. The precision tip on the cutting blade allows you to pinpoint precisely where you are cutting. The handle shows you where the blade will cut, making it easy to see exactly where your cuts and scores will begin and end. And, with the specially-designed insertion point, the handles snap into the track easily without bending or bowing the track itself-which helps to keep the track straight and rigid. Remember how frustrating it was to try and cut regular- sized cards on the old paper trimmer? With the new trimmer, the base has been extended so you can make most of your common cuts and measurements without extending the ruler!

Quick Trick

The Stamp-a-ma-jig comes with two pieces: the Stamp-a-ma-jig handle and the plastic imaging sheet. The handle has a T-shaped top portion, which makes it easy for right-handed stampers and left-handed stampers. Instructions are included with the Stamp-a-ma-jig, but here’s a basic overview to help you understand how it works.

1. Align the plastic sheet in the T-shaped top of the Stamp-a-ma-jig, making sure that the corner of the sheet is placed squarely into one corner of the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
2. Stamp your image on the sheet, placing the stamp squarely in the corner of the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
3. Place the stamped plastic sheet on your project where you want the stamped image to be.
4. Keeping the plastic sheet in place, place the Stamp-a-ma-jig on the stamped corner of the plastic sheet.
5. While holding the Stamp-a-ma-jig in place, remove the plastic sheet, place the stamp in the corner of the Stamp-a-ma-jig, and stamp on your project.

If you have a favorite set that needs the Stamp-a-ma-jig, you can make permanent image sheets to keep in the stamp case. Cut Window Sheets into small squares and stamp images from that set on the sheets using the Stamp-a-ma-jig and StazOn ink. Put those Window Sheets in the stamp case, and then when you go to stamp, you already have your stamps lined up on the Window Sheets.

Good Morning Everyone! Today's Tuesday Tool are the Aqua Painters. They are very versatile for controlling watercoloring. With the Aqua Painters there is no need for a cup and water and no mess! To use these, fill the reservoir with water.

Quick Trick

FYI

To use, carefully squeeze the barrel of the painter. If too much pressure is applied, liquid may come out too fast. For best results, empty the barrel and wipe moisture from the brush tip for storage.

You can place 8 cc of water or water-soluble liquid (with the consistency of water) in the refillable reservoir.

Do not place liquid acrylics or shellac-based ink in the reservoir.

Quick Trick
