Creating Kindness (Around The World) June 2021 Blog Hop - Plentiful Plants Friendship Card

Good Morning Everyone! I'm so excited to be a Guest Designer for the Creating Kindness Around The World June 2021 Blog Hop! My purpose for today's project was to celebrate Friendship. It has been an unprecedented year for me professionally, and personally, and I'm truly Blessed with some wonderful friends who have gotten me through it! I created a Tower Card using the Plentiful Plants stamp set and coordinating Perfect Plants dies. I used the Brick Pattern from the Bloom Where You Are Planted Designer Series Paper on the background. Then, I created a focal point using cardstock squares and the New Paper Lattice. Next, I adhered my plants, pots, and die cut leaves. Finally, I embellished with the Baker's Twine Essential Pack, and Genial Gems. Although this card may look complicated, I found it to be quite easy, and it took me out of my comfort zone. I hope you will give it a try. Also remember True Friends don't come and go in your life. They stay when it's good. They support when it's bad. They stay loyal when everyone is not!

Card Measurements:
Cinnamon Cinder Card Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/4" (Score at 1', 2", 3", 5 1/4", 6 1/4", and 7 1/4". Turn on the 5 1/2" side and line up at 1" in the Stampin' Trimmer. Cut from the 1" score line to the 3" score line, then 5 1/4" score line to the 7 1/4" score line. Move the Base over to 2" and repeat the same steps. Then you will turn the base around to the other side and repeat these steps on it as well)

Sports Mania Blog Hop!

Happy Superbowl Sunday Everyone! Are you ready for some Football? I sure am! Although my team , the Saints, will not be there this year; it's still fun to watch and I can't get enough of the commercials in between. Speaking of sports today, Kathryn, from Creations With Kathryn, is sponsoring a Sports Mania Blog Hop featuring sports related papercraft projects. I am very excited to be a participant in this hop as well.

If you are reading this, you just came from Roxy Bonds' Blog, RoxyBonds-Scrappin. To start at the beginning of the Sports Mania Blog Hop visit Kathryn's Blog, Creations With Kathryn. Now on to my projects!

I have a niece, Jacarria, who loves basketball. She started playing when she was little, and now it has become her passion! When I was home over Christmas, I got to to go to one of her games. I must say she is quite good! She had so much energy and I could tell she was putting her heart in every move she made. I know you think I'm bragging on her, and you are right, I am:) Anyway, because of her good grades and her hard work with her team, she has been ask to play with the varsity squad later this year!

When I get back home in summer, I plan to have a celebration for her and her accomplishments. Each of my projects were especially designed for her. Her team's colors are blue and white and although she is a basketball player, she is still a flower lovin' girlie-girl at heart. I tried to keep these elements consistent in my creations. Enjoy!
