Make It Monday. - Forever And Always Valentine’s Day Cards (January Artisan Design Team Showcase!)

Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! Here are my first showcase projects for the Stampin' Up! 2021 Artisan Design Team. I created two cards from the Forever & Always Bundle, True Love Designer Series Paper, and Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper which I was assigned. I wanted to demonstrate how easy it is to create card backgrounds with the Scrappy Strips Technique and a punch. For the Love You Card, I used 1” strips of the True Love Designer Series Paper and adhered them diagonally and at right angles to make the background. Next, I took the Tailored Tag Punch and punched shapes from the Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper to make the background for the With You Forever Card. Both of these techniques are Quick and Easy and I hope you can give each a try!

Love You Card Measurements:

Basic Black Card Base: 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”

Basic White Card Layer: 5 1/4” x 4”

True Love Designer Series Paper Layer: 1” Strips

Basic Black Card Layer: 1 1/4” x 5 1/4”

Basic White Card Layer: 1” x 5”

With You Forever Card Measurements:

Rococo Rose Card Base: 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”

Basic White Card Layer: 5 1/4” x 4”

Love You Always Specialty Designer Series: Punch 13 Shapes with the Tailored Tag Punch and adhere to the Basic White Card Layer

Paper: Basic Black, Basic White, Rococo Rose, True Love Designer Series Paper, Love You Always Specialty Designer Series

Ink: Black Memento, Rococo Rose, Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack, Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack

Stamp: Forever And Always

Accessories: Always Dies, Stampin’ Cut And Emboss Machine, Tailored Tag Punch, Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack (Whisper White Baker’s Twine colored with the Old Olive Stampin’ Blends)
