Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! My Make It Monday Share is a Drapery Fold Birthday Card created with the Stampin' Up! Timeless Tropical stamp set and coordinating In The Tropics dies. I used the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper on the background. Then I stamped and colored the Hibiscus flower using the Stampin' Blend markers. Next, I added the sentiment in Old Olive ink. Finally, I embellished with Old Olive Linen Thread and Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Not only was this card Quick and Easy, but also it can be used for other occasions as well!
Card Measurements:
Real Red Card Base: 4 1/4" x 11"
Whisper White Card Layer: 5 1/4" x 4"
Real Red Card Layer: 3/4" x 4"
Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper Layer: 5 1/2" x 12"
(With the 5 1/2" side at the top, line the edge up at 1" on the Stampin' Trimmer and make a small Tic Mark. Then Slide the Designer Series Paper down to 4 1/2" and make another Tic Mark at the bottom of it. Next place the Designer Series Paper in the Stampin' Trimmer with the top and bottom Tic Marks at angle and cut from the top to the bottom. This will make 2 pieces to make 2 cards. Now score the Designer Series Paper at 1", 3", 4", 6", 7", 9", 10", and 11". Pick the side you want facing out and accordion fold the Designer Series Paper. Add adhesive on the back of the folds so that they stay in place.)
