Good Morning Everyone! My Tuesday Tip is how to create a Birdhouse Card using the Stampin' Up! Toile Christmas stamp set and coordinating Christmas Cardinal Dies. I made this card a few weeks ago and you can see the original post Here. Not only is it Quick and Easy, but also it can be used for other Occasions as well!
1. You will need : Early Espresso Card Base: 4 1/4" x 11"
Old Olive Card Layer: 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Come Gather Together Designer Series Paper Layer: 4" x 3 1/4"
Whisper White Inside Card Layer: 4" x 3 1/4"
Every Season Punch Pack (Big Heart), and the Dog Builder Punch (Little Heart)
2. Fold the Early Espresso card stock to form the card base and put Tick Marks at 2 1/8" at the top and both sides. Cut the Old Olive card stock in half for the roof.
3. Use a Paper Trimmer to Score the card stock from the top 2 1/8" Tick Mark to each 2 1/8" Tick Mark on the sides. Use the Heart Punch on the Old Olive roof.
4. Fold in and burnish on the score lines of the base. Use the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder on the roof.
5. Adhere the Come To Gather Designer Series Paper Layer, Roof, and Heart to the front of the Card,
6. Use the 1 1/2" Circle Punch to from a hole for the Bird. Add the Whisper White Card Layer to the inside.
7. You should now have the Birdhouse Card Base.
8. Add the Cardinal, Branch and Sentiment to finish it off!
