Make It Monday - Stampin' Up! Season of Gratitude 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit (I Pumped Up The Pumpkin!)
Monday, October 31, 2016
Good Morning Everyone! My Make It Monday share comes from the Stampin' Up! October 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit. When I received my kit last month, I was delighted to see the Season of Gratitude stamp set, 8 kraft card bases, 8 window sheets, die-cut elements Sequins, and a few other accessories to make 8 Shaker Cards for Fall or Thanksgiving. For those of you who are not familiar with this program, it is a monthly creative escape that lets you create cards and paper craft projects using stamps, ink, card stock, and accessories all in one pretty red box! The only other products you need to complete each project are scissors and adhesive which mostly everyone has at home. If you don't have a lot of time and space, or don't want to spend a lot on crafting products, then Paper Pumpkin is for you. Although the project for this month was already fantastic and easy to assemble, I decided to jazz up this kit just little bit more. I used the Petals & Paisleys Designer Series Specialty Paper to create 3 One Sheet Wonders Thanksgiving Cards. Then, I took the leaf negatives and made focal points by simply sponging them with Delightful Dijon ink. Next, I added a layer of Vanilla card stock and adhered two of the die-cut elements included in the kit. I finally stamped the sentiments on each of the cards and embellished with Linen Thread and Neutral Candy Dots. Sign up HERE to enroll.
