Cute Conversations Valentine's Day Treat Pockets
Good Morning Everyone! My Make It Monday Share comes from the Stampin' Up! January 2016 Paper Pumpkin Kit. When I received my kit last month, I was delighted to see the Cute Conversations stamp set, printed heart papers, paper flags, pink sequin trim, and other accessories to create a Valentine's Day Banner! For those of you who are not familiar with this program, it is a monthly creative escape that lets you create cards and paper craft projects using stamps, ink, card stock, and accessories all in one pretty red box! The only other products you need to complete each project are scissors and adhesive which mostly everyone has at home. If you don't have a lot of time and space, or don't want to spend a lot on crafting products, then Paper Pumpkin is for you. Although the project for this month was already fantastic and easy to assemble, I decided to jazz up this kit just little bit more. I took each of the printed heart pieces and created Valentine's Day Treat Pockets.. I used Stampin' Up! Bloomin' Hearts Thinlits Dies to add a flourished heart and die cut flowers to the front of each pocket.Then I used the pink sequin accessories from the kit to embellish. Next, I added my sentiment from the Cute Conversations stamp set, and an additional hand punched heart. Finally, I stuffed each pocket with Valentine's Day Candy.
