Good Evening Everyone! My Try It Thursday share comes from the Stampin' Up! Happy Thoughts Paper Pumpkin Kit. When I received my kit last month, I was delighted to see the Happy Thoughts stamp set, 8 card bases die cuts, stickers, envelopes, and a few other accessories to make both feminine and masculine cards! For those of you who are not familiar with this program, it is a monthly creative escape that lets you create cards and paper craft projects using stamps, ink, card stock, and accessories all in one pretty red box! The only other products you need to complete each project are scissors and adhesive which mostly everyone has at home. If you don't have a lot of time and space, or don't want to spend a lot on crafting products, then Paper Pumpkin is for you. Although the project for this month was already fantastic and easy to assemble, I decided to jazz up the cards just little bit more. I used the Stampin' Up! Guy Greetings stamp set to add a vintage card to the masculine card. I then added Rhinestone embellished stars and twine to finish it off. For the feminine card, I recreated the banner layer using the enclosed die cut stickers. I then dressed up my flower by adding the scallop circle layers and the new Metal Rimmed Pearls. Two great cards, two different looks! Not only are these projects more special, but also the added bonus was that I had a set of stamps and ink left that I could use on something else!
