Good Morning Everyone! My Make It Monday share is a Christmas Card shaped like a door. The panel flips open to reveal the sentiment on the inside. Thank you Francis Martin for the tutorial on how to assemble it! I changed it a bit and added a Christmas Wreath made from the Stampin' Up Delicate Doilies Sizzlits Die. I then attached a bow and Antique Brad for the door knob. To give my door depth, I sponged Early Espresso Ink on each of the door panels. That's it, clean and simple, but with a twist!
Card Measurements:
Very Vanilla Card Stock Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (Cut off 3/4" inch off the front of the card.)
Early Espresso Card Layer: 5 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Early Espresso Door Panels: 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" (Cut four pieces for one door. Use the Simply Scored to outline each panel.)
Paper: Early Espresso, Old Olive, Very Vanilla
Ink: Early Espresso
Stamp: Greetings of The Seasons, More Merry Messages
Accessories: Stampin' Up Delicate Doilies Sizzlits Die, Big Shot, Simply Scored, 3/4" Circle Punch, Real Red Ribbon, Antique Brad
Happy Stamping!
Lisa, Your card is beautiful! I love the wreath on the front door and the details of the door! TFS!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Cherie! The door is my favorite part! Just think of all the occasions you can change it to.
