Make It Monday - Stampin' Up Bootiful Occasions Halloween Card and Tutorial
Monday, October 8, 2012
Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I did as I spent it with friends at the Latin Festival held downtown. There was arts and crafts, dancing and lots of good food. Fun was had by all! My Make It Monday share is a Halloween card inspired by Kim Innis. Of course, I changed it a bit to make it my own. I used the Stampin' Up Bootiful Occasions stamp set and the Stampin' Up Chevron embossing folder. The technique I incorporated on the background is called Embedded Embossing and it is so easy to do. Just follow the tutorial I have listed below.
Card Measurements:
Basic Black Card Stock Base: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
Paper: Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry
Stamp: Bootiful Occasions
Accessories:Scallop Circle Bigz Die, 3 1/2" Circle Bigz Die, Chevron Embossing Folder, Big Shot, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Signo Uni-ball Gel Pen, Pumpkin Pie Ribbon
Embedded Embossing Tutorial
1. You will need the circle punches listed above, colored card stock in the colors listed, your black card stock base, the Chevron Embossing Folder, the Big Shot, and adhesive.
2. Use the circle punches to punch circles in the colored card stock and use adhesive to attach them to your black card stock base.
3. Take your card base and put it inside the Chevron Embossing Folder.
4. Run the embossing folder through the Big Shot machine.
5. Embellish your card.
Happy Stamping!
