Good Morning Everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! I spent mine enjoying music, food, and fun at Festival International. My Make It Monday Share comes from the April 2017 A Sara Thing Paper Pumpkin Kit. This special kit was designed by Stampin' Up! CEO Sara Douglass. When I received my kit last month, I was delighted to see the A Sara Thing stamp set, an Archival Basic Black Stampin' Spot, 12 card bases and printed envelopes, 8 watercolor resist paper pieces, 4 sheets of watercolor paper, 4 Watercolor Pencils, a Brush and other accessories to create a set of Watercolor Cards. Although the project for this month was already fantastic and easy to assemble, I decided to jazz up this kit just little bit more. I added a spray of Dragonflies to the first card using the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies. Next, I created a flower embellishment on the heart, using the Falling Flowers and Flower Shop stamp sets. Finally, on the last card, I did a Watercolor Wash and created a Mother's Day Card using the You've Got This stamp set. Not only were these cards more special, but also I got the added bonus of having a stamp set and ink spot, that I could use on something else!
