Good Morning Everyone! My Try It Thursday share comes from the Stampin' Up! Chalk It Up To Love August 2015 Paper Pumpkin Kit. When I received my kit last month, I was delighted to see the Chalk It Up To Love stamp set, 6 card bases die cuts, stickers, envelopes, and a few other accessories to make both Sympathy, Love and For You cards and 3 decorative boxes! For those of you who are not familiar with this program, it is a monthly creative escape that lets you create cards and paper craft projects using stamps, ink, card stock, and accessories all in one pretty red box! The only other products you need to complete each project are scissors and adhesive which mostly everyone has at home. If you don't have a lot of time and space, or don't want to spend a lot on crafting products, then Paper Pumpkin is for you. Although the project for this month was already fantastic and easy to assemble, I decided to jazz up the cards just little bit more. I used the Stampin' Up! Pansy and Petite Petal punches to add a beautiful flower to the first alternative card. I then added another die cut flower, included in the kit, to the second alternative card. The Stampin' Up! Oval Framelits Dies made it easy to layer the chalkboard paper for a different look. Plus, notice how I cut each of the card bases in half. This allowed me to create 12 cards all together. Not only are these projects more special, but also the added bonus was that I had a set of stamps and ink left that I could use on something else!
