Good Morning Everyone! My Try It Thursday share comes from the Stampin' Up! Sew You March Paper Pumpkin Kit. When I received my kit last month, I was delighted to see 8 card bases, with die cut word bubbles, which could be made into stitched cards ! For those of you who are not familiar with this program, it is a monthly creative escape that lets you create cards and paper craft projects using stamps, ink, card stock, and accessories all in one pretty red box! The only other products you need to complete each project are scissors and adhesive which mostly everyone has at home. If you don't have a lot of time and space, or don't want to spend a lot on crafting products, then Paper Pumpkin is for you.  Because I am aware many of you are not into Sewing, I decided to show my alternate projects without the stitching. I simply added a layer of Daffodil Delight card stock behind each word bubble to highlight each sentiment. For the Thank You Cards, I used the Mixed Bunch stamp set and coordinating Blossom Punch to add a flower embellishment. Then, I realized I could do more! I took the next set of card bases and using the Stampin' Trimmer, converted each one into Matchbook Post It Note Holders. But wait, there's more! I took the final set of card bases and added a few score lines to create a Candy Favor for a Birthday. I then dressed up the favor by adding a two-toned bow using the Stampin' Up! Gift Bow Punch. I love, love, love it!. Not only are these projects more special, but also the added bonus was that I had a set of stamps and ink left that I could use on something else! Sew You Matchbook Post It Note Holder:
- Take one card base and score it on one end at 1".  
- Next turn it around and cut off 1 1/8" on the other end. 
- Fold on the score line and adhere with the Handheld Stapler.

Sew You Candy Favor
- Take one card base and score at 3/4" and 5 3/4".
- Fold on the score lines.
- Embellish with the die cut word bubble and  adhere with a Stampin' Dimensional.
