Try It Thursday - Stampin' Up! Holiday Home Snow Globe Shaker Card
Thursday, December 11, 2014
Good Morning Everyone! My Try It Thursday share is a Shaker Card created with the Stampin' Up! Holiday Home stamp set and coordinating Homemade Holiday Framelits Dies. Totally inspired by a card that Justin Krieger did, I changed a lot of the elements to make it my own. I used the Stampin' Up! Blendabilities to color the stamped images and then I used the Stampin' Up! Shaker Frames and Window Sheets to create the Snow Globe effect. Next, I embellished with Stampin' Up! Frosted Sequins and Real Red Ribbon. Finally, I added my sentiment from the Stampin' Up! Project Life December Wonder stamp set. Snow is a rarity here in Southern Louisiana, so I can only dream with my Snow Globe Card!
Card Measurements:
Real Red Card Base: 4 1/4" x 11
Pool Party Card Layer: 5 1/4" x 4"
Paper: Pool Party, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, and Daffodil Delight Blendabilities, Real Red
Stamp: Holiday Home, Project Life December Wonder
Accessories: Homemade Holiday Framelits Dies, Circle Framelits Dies, Snow Globe Die, Big Shot, Shaker Frames, Window Sheets, Frosted Sequins, Real Red Ribbon
Happy Stamping!
