Sports Mania Blog Hop!

Happy Superbowl Sunday Everyone! Are you ready for some Football? I sure am! Although my team , the Saints, will not be there this year; it's still fun to watch and I can't get enough of the commercials in between. Speaking of sports today, Kathryn, from Creations With Kathryn, is sponsoring a Sports Mania Blog Hop featuring sports related papercraft projects. I am very excited to be a participant in this hop as well.

If you are reading this, you just came from Roxy Bonds' Blog, RoxyBonds-Scrappin. To start at the beginning of the Sports Mania Blog Hop visit Kathryn's Blog, Creations With Kathryn. Now on to my projects!

I have a niece, Jacarria, who loves basketball. She started playing when she was little, and now it has become her passion! When I was home over Christmas, I got to to go to one of her games. I must say she is quite good! She had so much energy and I could tell she was putting her heart in every move she made. I know you think I'm bragging on her, and you are right, I am:) Anyway, because of her good grades and her hard work with her team, she has been ask to play with the varsity squad later this year!

When I get back home in summer, I plan to have a celebration for her and her accomplishments. Each of my projects were especially designed for her. Her team's colors are blue and white and although she is a basketball player, she is still a flower lovin' girlie-girl at heart. I tried to keep these elements consistent in my creations. Enjoy!

Project 2: Double Pocket Invitation and Scallop Circle Purse Party Favor

Project 3: Water Bottle Treat Favor and Matching Cupcake Topper and Wrapper

I had so much fun designing each one of those projects for Jacarria and I can't wait until we have the actual celebration! I hope you not only come back and visit me again soon, but also become a follower of my blog! Happy Stampin', and the next stop on this hop is LeeAnn Synder's Luv To Scrap Blog.

  17. Holy Moly!!! You really did a fantastic job making these projects sports related, but making them fit for a girl. I have never been able to do that. I like that you used the flower so simply in the colors, but not overwhelming that it still looks sporty. The Pocket invite, the water bottle and the YUMMY Cupcake. Wow!!! TFS and thank you for being apart of this hop.
