Make A Card Challenge Week 4 - Finish With An Embellishment Or Accessory

Good Morning Everyone! We are now down to the final week of the "Make A Card Challenge"! If you have been following along, we are at the last step where we will assemble our card and add an embellishment or other accessory. I also hope that you can take something away from this challenge and continue card making in your life!

Accordingly, don't forget that I will be giving away a Stampin' Up Stamp Set to one person who participated in all four weeks of this challenge. You must leave a reply to each week's post and email me a picture of your finished card by January 31, 2011. I will post all the pictures to my blog from those who participated by Friday, February 4, 2011. I will use the Random Number Generator to pick a winner. Now on to the Grand Finale!
Materials: Card Base and all Card Layers including the extra 5 1/4" x 4" Layer for the inside of your card, Card Sentiment (Optional), 1 or 2 Accessories (I am using Old Olive Ribbon and Halve Back Pearls.), Adhesive

1. Take your adhesive and glue each of your card layers to your card base.

2. Glue the extra 5 1/4" x 4" card layer to the inside of your card. I leave mine blank sometimes to write a personal message.

3. Add an embellishment or accessory. I chose Old Olive Ribbon.

4. Add your card sentiment.

5. Add one more embellishment or accessory. I am using halve back pearls. Now you have a finished card!

Congratulations! You have now successfully made a beautiful card with just a few steps! Please let me know how your experience has been with the Make A Card Challenge!

  1. Hi Lisa, this was a fun challenge! I have posted the finished product on my blog and will email you it also. This is a great way to help those just starting out and a refresher course for those of us who forget how easy layering is. :-)
