Tuesday Tool - Stampin' Pastels

Hi Everyone! Today's Tuesday Tool is the Stampin' Pastels. Use them as another medium to add color to your project. Easy blendable and available in the Stampin' Up Color Families, the Stampin' Pastels will give you a beautiful soft look.

Features & Benefits
  • Exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors
  • Artist quality
  • Includes 6 applicators and an eraser
  • Oil free
  • Works well on matte-finish papers

Quick Trick

Apply pastels with a stamping sponge, sponge dauber, or stipple brush. Blend as desired with the applicators or a Stampin’ Up! blender pen.

To use the popular Poppin’ Pastels technique, stamp an image with VersaMark ink. Apply Stampin’ Pastels to the stamped image with a stamping sponge or sponge dauber. Blend and mix pastels for beautiful effects.

FYI

Due to the manufacturing process, a film may sometimes appear on the top of the pastels. Simply rub this film off with an applicator.

High-quality chalks are very soft to enable easy blending. However, due to this softness, breakage or cracking may occur in shipping. This is not considered a defect and does not affect the chalks’ quality or ease of use. Stampin' Up's unique pastel tray keeps colors from mixing together if breakage does occur.

  1. Lisa, you're amazing with all these tips! I have those pastels and the blender pens and had no clue how to properly use them on my stamping. So, that's what the blender pens are for. I love those pastels - now, I need to make more use of them! TFS! I hope you're doing well - I know lots of stuff is going on and school is gearing up to slow...so hope you're getting time for yourself. :)
